“We have known Ms. Torio since we planned a large Filipino American festival known as the Baryo Fiesta in October 2023. When we organized a team to plan and execute the event, she was one of our organizers who worked diligently and successfully made it happen. She served as the co-chair of promotion and marketing, and recruited youth volunteers to ensure everything was in order on the day of the event.
